Delaware’s Urban and Community Forestry Program conducts a number of programs designed to certify and recognize municipalities, homeowner associations, organizations, and schools who are committed to maintaining and increasing the trees in their neighborhood.

Urban Grant Program

  Through a federal grant, the Delaware Forest Service offers up to $40,000 each year to communities throughout the state for tree planting, tree care, and tree management projects on publicly owned lands.
