Providence Creek Academy Tree Planting

On Thursday, May 28, 2015, Delaware Forest Service staff joined students in grades K to 4 at Providence Creek Academy Charter School in Clayton to plant 17 trees as part of Grade 8 student Caroline Dowd’s Girl Scout Silver Award project. The trees are a mixture of native species that will make an attractive campus learning environment for students for many years in the future and serve as a living classroom to enrich the study of other curriculum areas.
